Job summary

AngelCare in Durban is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the hospital environment. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

You will dispose of waste, restock supplies in restrooms and patient areas, assist with cleaning equipment, report maintenance issues, follow infection control protocols, and collaborate with staff to maintain high cleanliness

• Disposing of waste and hazardous materials according to safety regulations.
• Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and patient areas.
• Assisting with the cleaning of medical equipment and ensuring all cleaning materials are used correctly and safely.
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Following infection control protocols and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborating with other staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
• Completing cleaning schedules and checklists accurately and on time.
