Salary Type: up to $, + super

Podiatrist required for hospital based role in the Northern Territory.

You will join a team of 60 allied health clinicians, including other Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplains, and ALO.

This role will consist of inpatient and outpatient care in a clinic setting at the Hospital.

Due to the high rate of diabetes in Central Australia, there is a large caseload managing diabetic-related foot conditions.

Other common foot conditions include Charcot foot and chronic wounds.

The team is inclusive and social, with support and supervision available.

85% of the caseload is indigenous, with 50% coming from remote communities.

This is a great chance to develop your skill set.

P2 award rates up to $, + super per annum depending on experience.

Travel reimbursed at completion of six-month contract (with receipts).

Accommodation available starting at $ per week.

Enjoy salary packaging, 6 weeks annual leave per annum, and 3 weeks personal leave per annum (pro rata basis for 6-month contract), monthly flexible day negotiated with manager.

Full-time hours, Monday – Friday.

Minimum six-month commitment preferred.

The location is a great base for exploring the natural wonders of the Outback including Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges, and the Larapinta Trail.

It's also a fascinating spot to explore Australia's Aboriginal culture.
