Job summary

Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Hospital Operations Leader to establish and manage world-class hospital operations across CHG. The role interfaces with Head Office and oversees a team of specialists to deliver quality patient care.

The incumbent will lead strategic direction, develop non-acute hospital standards, manage budgets and resources, drive continuous improvement, ensure health and safety compliance, and collaborate with senior leaders on clinician recruitment and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare is required.
• MBA is an added advantage.
• 5-7 years in Hospital or Hospitality Management.
• 3 years’ people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction setting and planning for the Hospital area in alignment to CHG’s vision and mission.
• Develop the non-acute Hospital standards based on global and local best practices to achieve operational excellence and quality.
• Set goals and standards for the non-acute Hospital to support the business plans.
• Plan and utilise available skills and equipment for maximum effectiveness and productivity.
• Support and guide Nursing and Patient Experience workstreams to achieve operational success.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage operational risks.
• Maintain quality patient care delivery standards through qualified professionals.
• Manage budgets, resourcing, projects, and change management for non-acute Hospital Operations.
• Initiate and implement operational activities to deliver best patient experience and outcomes with cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
• Coordinate across streams to align and optimise the Hospital within CHG’s operating context.
• Support Group initiatives to strengthen funder relations and service provider status with funders.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in recruitment of Clinicians and Allied workers.
