Job Description: Hospital Operations Manager
Objective: To establish and manage a world-class hospital, ensuring quality patient care and effective management.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, manage, and monitor hospital operations across the group, interfacing with Head Office.
- Lead a team of specialists in the hospital setting.
- Set strategic direction and planning for non-acute hospital areas aligned with the company's vision and mission.
- Develop standards based on global and local best practices to achieve operational excellence and quality.
- Establish goals and standards supporting business plans.
- Optimize utilization of skills and equipment for maximum effectiveness.
- Support workstreams such as Nursing and Patient Experience to achieve operational success.
- Drive continuous improvement and manage operational risks.
- Maintain quality patient care standards with qualified, registered professionals.
- Manage communication, service providers, projects, budgets, resources, and change management related to hospital operations.
- Implement operational activities aimed at delivering excellent patient experiences and outcomes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Streamline hospital operations and foster collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Strategically oversee the hospital's value chain to ensure optimal integration within the operating context.
- Support initiatives to strengthen relations with funders and achieve service provider status.
- Collaborate on recruitment of clinicians and allied health workers with senior leadership.
- Support contractors to meet operational goals.
- Manage hospital marketing and patient experience strategies.
- Lead and manage functional disciplines within the portfolio.
