Job summary

Mediclinic seeks a skilled Electrician to provide electrical services, maintenance and repairs across hospital facilities in the Western Cape locality. The role emphasizes fault finding, test equipment use, and adherence to electrical regulations.

You will coordinate on-site contractor work, mentor technical staff, and ensure safety standards. Essential are a Wireman's licence and Namibian registration where applicable, plus Code B licence with own transport.

Qualifications

• NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects: Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent and Trade test certification: Electrical (3-phase), with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)
• Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport
• Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

• Perform Technical jobs within the Locality
• Perform administration duties within the technical function
• Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality
• Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
