The Department of Health is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for the Weskoppies Hospital in Pretoria. The role involves supervising cleaning staff, ensuring hygiene standards, and coordinating daily cleaning activities across wards and facilities.

You will monitor attendance, perform regular inspections, and compile reports while maintaining equipment and supplies. The position requires Grade 12, 3+ years’ experience, and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Formación

• Grade 12 (NSC) required; basic computer literacy an added advantage.
• Minimum of three years cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, standards and relevant legislation.
• Good planning, organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to deliver cleaning services hospital-wide.
• Monitor staff attendance, roll calls and allocate duties.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Complete inspection checklists and address deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, materials and consumables safely.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.
