Job Description

Absa Home Loans is dedicated to offering a learnership opportunity to talented, enthusiastic young individuals with a passion for utilizing technology to empower customers. This one-year program provides on-the-job exposure across all contact points with the Bank’s customers. As a learner, you will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Strong customer service skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to work well in a team, with effective listening and communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism and courteousness, with the ability to work under pressure
  • A self-starter attitude with a hands-on mentality

The learnership will expose successful candidates to the Home Loans Sales and Service Enablement areas for 12 months. Completion of all academic modules and on-the-job training is required.

Essential Requirements
  • Candidate aged between 18-30 years
  • Detailed CV with contacts and references
  • Copies of certificates, identity card, and proof of address
  • South African citizenship or permanent residency
  • Degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
  • Proficiency in English
  • Not employed elsewhere
  • Not registered with any other learnership or internship at the time of application
  • Not currently studying or registered with any learning institution
  • Computer literacy
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Flexible and willing to learn and work
Duration

This is a 12-month learnership programme. Candidates must be available for the full duration to qualify for graduation.

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend.
