The Faculty is looking for dedicated online TEFL tutors in South Africa to join our team and make a difference in global education.

The Role

  • No guaranteed teaching hours.
  • Various shifts to suit your availability.
  • Variable schedule based on operational needs within predefined time frames.
  • Advance notification of your schedule.

Your Responsibilities

  • Teach students using engaging, conversational teaching methodologies.
  • Inspire and support students in reaching their language goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and effective error correction.
  • Facilitate individual and group sessions that foster meaningful interaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent (a bachelor's degree in any field is advantageous).
  • 3 months of teaching experience (formal or informal) is advantageous.
  • 120-hour TEFL / TESOL certificate.
  • Strong computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.

Connectivity

PC Specifications:

  • Quad-core CPU (4-cores)
  • 8GB RAM.

Backup Power:

  • UPS or Portable Power Station (4–5 hours battery life).
  • Mini-UPS for your fibre router (4–5 hours battery life).

Other Requirements:

  • Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam (backup recommended).
  • Quiet, well-lit, professional workspace.
