You will be part of their successful Property team responsible for reactive and planned maintenance projects on various retirement properties, including flats, bungalows, and communal areas. This permanent role involves managing maintenance projects within the East London patch, covering over 30 sites.
Your new role
As the Property Surveyor, you will oversee reactive and planned maintenance projects. You will work alongside in-house property managers, who handle daily repairs and coordinate with contractors. Your responsibilities include conducting quarterly surveys to identify defects and managing the planned maintenance program, which may involve painting, decorating, fire safety, and window and door replacements. This is a home-based role covering East London, requiring site visits to monitor progress and meet property managers. Mileage is paid from home, with free parking available at all sites.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be an experienced residential property surveyor with exposure to reactive and planned maintenance. Residing within commuting distance of East London and having access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
