We are seeking a Hoisting Electrical Project Engineer with hands-on AC/DC winder installation and commissioning experience to lead critical mining projects. You will act as the technical authority for electrical hoisting systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering (or similar)
• 4+ years in mine hoisting systems, with AC/DC winder installation/commissioning
• Technical Proficiency in:
  • AC/DC drive systems (ABB, Siemens, or similar)
  • PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell)
  • HMI/SCADA design for hoist control
• Regulatory Knowledge:MHSA compliance, risk assessments, and explosion-proof (Ex) standards
• Soft Skills:Problem-solving under pressure, client-facing communication, and leadership

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and commission mine hoists (AC/DC winders) for shaft sinking and production
• Perform dynamic testing, audits, and troubleshooting of hoisting systems
• Oversee powertrain dimensioning, drive systems (ABB/Siemens), and control panels
• Develop functional specifications and ensure compliance with Mine Health & Safety Act (MHSA)
• Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
• Provide after-hours engineering support for critical hoist operations
• Work with clients, subcontractors, and OEMs to resolve technical issues
• Train site teams on hoist operation and safety protocols
