We are seeking a Hoisting Electrical Project Engineer with hands-on AC / DC winder installation and commissioning experience to lead critical mining projects. You will act as the technical authority for electrical hoisting systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Bachelor’s in Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering (or similar)
• 4+ years in mine hoisting systems, with AC / DC winder installation / commissioning
• Technical Proficiency in : AC / DC drive systems (ABB, Siemens, or similar) PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell) HMI / SCADA design for hoist control
• Regulatory Knowledge : MHSA compliance, risk assessments, and explosion-proof (Ex) standards
• Soft Skills : Problem-solving under pressure, client-facing communication, and leadership

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, configure, and commission mine hoists (AC / DC winders) for shaft sinking and production
• Perform dynamic testing, audits, and troubleshooting of hoisting systems
• Oversee powertrain dimensioning, drive systems (ABB / Siemens), and control panels
• Develop functional specifications and ensure compliance with Mine Health & Safety Act (MHSA)
• Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
• Provide after-hours engineering support for critical hoist operations
• Work with clients, subcontractors, and OEMs to resolve technical issues
• Train site teams on hoist operation and safety protocols
