Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to drive commercial growth through identifying and
acquiring new client and business opportunities, ensuring legislative compliance,
building strategic partnerships, governance related responsibilities, exposure at
industry events and exceeding expectations in developing bespoke client and
market solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute industry-related commercial strategies to achieve revenue
targets and expand market share for CoachMatching.
• Lead new business development, client engagement and key account
management initiatives.
• Scan relevant tender and client websites, and prepare and submit Requests for
Proposals (RFP’s) to compete for new business.
• Lead negotiations and close deals to secure new business.
• Support brand positioning, and oversee proposal development and strategic
pitching.
• Collaborate with strategic partners to co-create and promote coaching
programs.
• Work alongside HOD Business Operations to develop client proposals and manage
existing key client accounts.
• Collaborate with the Operations, IT, Finance and HR teams to ensure delivery
capabilities meet commercial commitments.
• Conduct market research and analysis, and scan industry-related trends,
translating insights into business opportunities and client information-sharing.
• Represent CoachMatching at industry events, forums and client engagements.
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the
coaching and leadership development offerings to enhance client experience
and business opportunities.
• Montor and report on sales performance, providing insights and
recommendations for improvements.
• Develop pricing models and ensures profitability across services and contracts.
• Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance CoachMatching’s value proposition.
Key Skills & Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in business development, strategy and consulting.
• Ideally an Executive Coach or Business Mentor.
• Proven track record in securing new business and growing existing clients.
• Excellent presentation, influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Deep understanding of the human resource development, coaching and
consulting industry is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong focus on understanding and addressing the needs and expectations of
clients.
• Ability to tailor services to meet specific client requirements and enhance their
experience.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals and meet revenue targets.
• Ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the sector.
• Adherence to ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings, maintaining
CoachMatching’s reputation and trustworthiness.
