Job description

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller plays a vital role in operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction is achieved.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with other departments, and liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers, and engineers to ensure minimal delays in fulfilling customer needs with available equipment and close contact. To support your journey to success, here’s what you’ll need:

  2. Strong communication skills both verbally & written

  4. Commitment to learn and develop
  5. Driving license
  6. Previous experience working within the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role
