Placements24 seeks a dynamic Physical Science Teacher to deliver engaging instruction to high school students in the Vereeniging area. The role may be remote or hybrid, focusing on physics and chemistry concepts and the use of digital tools to create an interactive learning experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Physics or Chemistry with a PGCE, SACE registration, and proven high school teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or related science field.
• PGCE or equivalent required.
• SACE registration required.
• Experience teaching physical science at high school level.
• Familiar with online teaching platforms and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in physical science (Physics and/or Chemistry) for high school levels.
• Design and conduct engaging experiments and practical activities, ensuring student safety.
• Assess student understanding through diverse evaluation methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Integrate educational technology, simulations, and online resources to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with department heads and colleagues to refine curriculum and teaching strategies.
