Job summary

Trinityhouse, part of the ADvTECH Schools Division in South Africa, invites applications for a High School Educator. You'll use modern trends and technology, support co-curricular activities, and contribute to a stimulating, inclusive learning environment aligned with CAPS and IEB where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) with PGCE/HDE or B.Ed. specializing in the relevant teaching subjects.
• Valid SACE registration and police clearance.
• 3-5 years of teaching experience with subject specialization.
• Familiarity with CAPS curriculum; IEB teaching and matric marking experience advantageous.
• First Aid certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Academic Delivery: Implement the Trinityhouse curriculum using future-focused and differentiated teaching methods and integrate technology to personalize learning.
• Assessment & Reporting: Maintain records, provide feedback to students and parents, and participate in moderation and QA processes.
• Student Behaviour Management: Establish clear behavioural expectations, mentor students, and identify barriers to learning.
• School Brand Ambassadorship: Model Trinityhouse ethos, participate in events and support professional growth of peers.
• Administration: Assist with excursions, resource management, and adherence to school policies.
• Co-Curricular: Be involved in co-curricular activities and support holistic student development.
