High School Dramatic Arts Teacher (Grade 7-12)

Applications are invited for the following position:

High School Dramatic Arts Teacher (Grade 7-12)

to commence duties in: Term 1 of 2026

Only applicants who meet the following requirements will be considered:

  • Minimum Three Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Drama.
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Be passionate about education and working with children.
  • Proficiency in computer technology especially Google Suite.
  • Independent School teaching experience is advantageous.
  • Proven organisational and administration skills.
  • Knowledge of latest teaching trends.
  • Must align with the Christian ethos and Mission Statement of the school.
  • A Police Clearance certificate will be required.
  • SACE registration.

Duties will include inter alia:

  • Teaching Drama according to the CAPS curriculum in Creative Arts to Grades 7 to 9 and FET Dramatic Arts to Grades 10 to 12.
  • The ability to teach Afrikaans 1st Additional Language at GET level would be advantageous.
  • Direction of school productions and cultural events.
