The Assistant Practitioner School Years will support the delivery of school health services by facilitating and empowering school-age children to engage in healthy lifestyles through health promotion, screening, and anticipatory care. Working under the guidance of the School Nurse, the postholder applies the principles of public health, nursing, and school nursing to support children and families across the Highland region. The role primarily focuses on children aged 5 to 12 years but may include working with children and young people of all ages, depending on service needs.
