Helpdesk Support Technician
Job description
Position available for a Junior Helpdesk Support Technician in Randburg. Hybrid working.
Minimum Requirements:
- IT Diploma / Degree preferred
- Grade 12
- Office 365 certified (MD-100, MD-101)
- ITIL Foundations Certificate
- A+ and N+ certificates
- MCSA server 2012 - 2019 certified
- More than 2 years in an IT Support role
- 1 yr or more experience with Active Directory
- 2 years or more experience with Desktop Support
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Active Directory skills
- Be based near Randburg
- Well spoken as you will be in a client orientated role dealing with corporate clients
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support to clients
- Support call logging & updating
- Desktop & peripheral support
- Network support
- Ensure tickets are logged in the Support System
- Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved
- Remote and telephonic support
- Research and identify solutions to client technical problems.
- Ensuring all incoming Helpdesk calls are answered within SLA
- Resolving calls within SLA
- Appropriate & timeous call escalation
- Identify repeat problems with associated action plans
- Software and hardware installations
- Ensuring all work is done in accordance with company policies & procedures
