Heineken Beverages South Africa is seeking applications from unemployed individuals to join a 14-month Learnership Programme in Food & Beverages Packaging Operations.

This opportunity is ideal for youth with a passion for manufacturing and packaging processes who want to gain valuable skills and a nationally recognized qualification.

• Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English.
• Currently unemployed.
• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Physically fit and able to cope with the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to learning.
• Previous experience in a production or packaging environment is an advantage.

Learnership Outcomes Include:

• Understanding machine operations and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Performing quality control and first-line maintenance tasks.
• Applying HACCP principles and food safety practices.
• Operating machinery (e.g., Washing, Filling, Sealing, Labelling, Palletizing, Depalletizing).
• Attending and passing class assessments with a minimum of 70%.
