Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and a Code 14 driver's license.
• Minimum of 6 years of verifiable experience as an HGV driver, with at least 3 years in long-distance hauling.
• Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of South African road networks, including major routes and provincial highways.
• Experience operating various types of HGV vehicles and trailers.
• Ability to manage fatigue and maintain alertness during extended driving periods.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic repair.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform routine checks and minor adjustments.
• A clean driving record with no major violations is essential.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
