Placements24 is seeking a professional Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver with a Code 14 license to join the fleet operations based in Mahikeng. You will transport goods across routes, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently for the transportation of cargo to specified destinations.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its load, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and driving hour regulations.
• Accurately record driving logs, mileage, delivery times, and any vehicle maintenance issues.
• Load and unload goods as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and other stakeholders regarding delivery status and any potential issues.

Requirements
