Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance on Heavy Goods Mechanics to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. This includes routine checks on brakes, engines, transmissions, suspensions, and other essential systems.
• Diagnose Problems: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently.
• Repairs: Carry out repairs on faulty parts or components of Heavy Goods Mechanics, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's specifications and safety standards.
• Parts Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, order new parts when necessary, and ensure their proper usage during repairs and maintenance.
• Record-Keeping: Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours worked. Maintain comprehensive records for each Heavy Goods Mechanic in the fleet.
