Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency with at least three major machine types (e.g., excavator, bulldozer, grader).
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent trade qualification.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and site diagrams.
• Physical fitness and stamina for demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Team player with the ability to follow instructions diligently.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and compactors safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Identify and report defects or malfunctions promptly to supervisor or maintenance team.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and site instructions to complete excavation, grading, and leveling tasks.
• Adhere to all site safety regulations, including PPE and safe operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with site managers, engineers, and laborers to meet project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and secure storage of equipment and materials.
• Operate equipment with precision to achieve required contours and elevations.
• Respond to signals from ground personnel to ensure clear communication.
