Key Performance Areas:

Implement the HSE elements of the Business Operating System (BOS):

  • Utilize the BOS to promote and maintain HSE compliance onsite and ensure compliance with all legislative standards and regulations.
  • Assess and approve contractor health and safety documentation; guide contractors as needed.
  • Draft and implement task-specific risk management documentation.
  • Implement project-specific emergency preparedness plans and review their effectiveness.
  • Conduct site inductions and relevant training.
  • Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Oversee inspection checklists and ensure completion by responsible persons.
  • Manage all incident cases, provide First Aid when required, and compile reports.
  • Record and report on HSE-related matters and oversee document control.
  • Maintain non-conformance registers.
  • Assist with site shut-down procedures.

Support site team and department in maintaining HSE compliance and professional development:

  • Act as an HSE expert advisor.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and system requirements.
  • Assist with HSE planning and provide advice.
  • Deliver internal training as needed.

Enhance project efficiency and reduce costs:

  • Contribute to project resource management and pricing.
  • Manage change and risk within budget.
  • Mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Track penalties and contra charges.
  • Reduce incident rates and related costs.
