Job summary

Discovery Health is seeking a Health Coach in a flexible independent contractor role within its talentpool. You will support members through behavioural change, benefit navigation, and activation of services, aiming to improve quality of life.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on sustainable health improvements and proactive coaching.

Qualifications

• Clinical qualification accredited with a health professions body.
• Knowledge of DH and Vitality products, benefits, funding, and policy rules.
• Coaching experience advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Apply coaching techniques to allocated members to achieve program and personal goals.
• Build positive relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
• Plan and organize schedules and sessions to optimize program adherence and completion rates.
• Assist members with benefit navigation, referrals and activations to maximize scheme benefits.
• Educate members on health and lifestyle changes and monitor progress.
• Record coaching sessions accurately and report on outcomes.
