Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Health and Safety qualification (SAMTRAC or NOSH).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a HSE role within mining.
• Knowledge of South African mining health and safety legislation.
• Experience in risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific health and safety management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance.
• Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to all levels of staff.

Requirements
