The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across all areas of our project operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute meaningfully to our company commitment to health and safety standards on site.Key Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and standards on site.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; compile detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.Coordinate and deliver OHS training, inductions, and awareness sessions for staff and contractors.Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation.Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies and prepare for audits and inspections.Promote a strong safety culture throughout the site.Required Qualifications and Experience : National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an OHS role, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or similar high-risk industries.Sound knowledge of relevant OHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.Certification in incident investigation and first aid will be advantageous.Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.License for site meetingsStrong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with OHS management systems.Duration : 6 monthsType : Fixed-TermHow to Apply : Send your CV, qualifications, SACPCMP registration and portfolio to
