TCOE SALARY: R1 411 278 – R1 907 984 PER ANNUM

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification, B. Eng / B. Sc Eng / B Tech Civil

Engineering

• Eligibility for ECSA Registration as a Technologist / Engineer

is required and registration as a technologist /engineer with

ECSA would be advantageous

• 8 or more years’ relevant experience required.

• Managerial experience

• Computer Literacy: MS Office

• Valid Driver’s License

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensuring the formulation of long term Water Demand

planning and strategy for the suitable water supply to

the citizens of Cape Town.

• Ensuring the effective implementation of capital

operational projects and programmes undertaken for

the purposes of Water Conservation and Water Demand

Management, of varying nature, scale and budget.

• Continuously developing and extending of the treated

effluent reticulation system infrastructure for the use and re

use of treated effluent.

• Compilation of the capital and operation budget for

the implementation of Water Demand Management projects,

programmes and operations.

• Liaising with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)

to assist in meeting the objective of Water Demand

Management and Water Conservation through various

communication channels.

• Providing input into various policies and by-laws to promote

the objectives of Water Demand Management, ensuring

adequate monitoring, auditing and reporting of progresson

the implementation of Water Demand Management

policy and strategy.
