**Job Summary**

The Head Waiter is responsible for leading a team of waiters and waitresses to provide exceptional service to our guests on board a cruise ship. This role involves supervising and training staff, monitoring dining room operations, and ensuring that all guests receive timely and efficient service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of waiters and waitresses to deliver exceptional service
  • Monitor dining room operations to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining room and other food service areas
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare and serve food according to guest preferences and dietary restrictions
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
