Placements24 seeks an experienced Head Squash Coach to lead the club's competitive squash program in Paarl. You will design a high-performance training strategy, oversee all coaching activities, and promote the sport within the club and wider community.

The role covers skill development, tactics, player assessment, and program management, plus organizing travel and logistics for competitions, mentoring staff, and maintaining a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a squash coach at a competitive level.
• In-depth knowledge of squash techniques, strategies, and training methods.
• Excellent coaching, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive squash training program covering technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions for players across age groups and skill levels.
• Scout and recruit talented players to join the program.
• Monitor progress and implement personalized development plans.
• Organize team logistics for competitions, including travel and accommodation.
• Promote a positive, disciplined team environment and continuous improvement.
