Job Summary

The Head of Valuations for Commercial Property Finance is a senior leadership role overseeing all valuation activities related to commercial real estate assets within the organization.

This role requires strong expertise in property valuation, a deep understanding of the commercial property market, and leadership skills to develop a team of valuation professionals.

The individual will ensure accurate and timely valuation assessments, manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party providers, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making in property financing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor valuation professionals, ensuring high accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Develop performance management and training initiatives.
  2. Valuation Management: Oversee all commercial property valuations, review and approve reports, ensuring consistency and industry standards. Ensure timely completion to support business operations.
  3. Market Insight & Strategy: Provide strategic advice on market trends, property values, and risks. Conduct market research and prepare reports for business decisions.
  4. Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, property owners, brokers, and valuation professionals. Act as the main contact for valuation inquiries.
  5. Risk & Compliance: Ensure valuation processes comply with regulations and standards. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with valuations. Develop and enforce valuation guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, FRICS) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial property valuation, with team management and strategic advisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
