Job description

Our client is seeking a Head of Training - Leadership and Organisational Development to join their team, based in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying high-potential employees, implementing world-class leadership training, and ensuring a strong succession pipeline for key roles.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:

  1. Organizational Development
  2. Leadership and Talent Development
  3. Human Resources (HR) or Industrial Psychology
  4. Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Leadership or HR
  5. Education and Training (with a specialization in executive or corporate learning)

Additional certifications are a plus:

  1. Certified Executive Coach (ICF, EMCC, or similar)
  2. Leadership Development and Talent Management Certifications (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development)
  3. Change Management Certification (PROSCI)
  4. Advanced Challenger Sales Model Training

Experience and Skills Required:

  1. 10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or corporate training
  2. At least 5 years in a senior leadership or training role within a large or mid-sized organization
  3. Proven experience in building and executing leadership programs that resulted in measurable career growth
  4. Experience in succession planning and high-potential talent identification
  5. Track record of successfully integrating leadership training into performance management
  6. Experience working in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, FMCG, or a high-growth corporate environment is a plus

  1. Leadership and Executive Coaching
  2. Succession Planning and Talent Analytics
  3. Training and Development Program Design
  4. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration with Executives
  5. Change Management and Culture Building
