Job description

Head of Training - Leadership and Organisational Development

Join our team based in Johannesburg as the Head of Training, focusing on Leadership and Organisational Development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying world-class leadership training programs and ensuring a strong succession pipeline for key roles.

Minimum Requirements :

Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields :

  • Organizational Development
  • Leadership and Talent Development
  • Human Resources (HR) or Industrial Psychology
  • Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Leadership or HR
  • Education and Training (specialization in executive or corporate learning)

Additional certifications are a plus, such as :

  • Certified Executive Coach (ICF, EMCC, or similar)
  • Leadership Development and Talent Management Certifications (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development)
  • Change Management Certification (PROSCI)
  • Advanced Challenger Sales Model Training

Experience and Skills Required :

  • 10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or corporate training
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or training role within a large or mid-sized organization, building and executing leadership programs that resulted in measurable career growth
  • Experience in succession planning and high-potential talent identification
  • Track record of successfully integrating leadership training into performance management
  • Experience working in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, FMCG, or a high-growth corporate environment (preferred)
  • Strong expertise in :
    • Leadership and Executive Coaching
    • Succession Planning and Talent Analytics
    • Training and Development Program Design
    • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration with Executives
