In this position, you will be responsible for managing our Technical Operations in South Africa and SSA countries, with 6 direct reports and roughly 35 employees.

You will report to the GM & Head of Region Hub SSA.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead cross-functional management and development of Technical Operations through efficient employee management and compliance with regulations, laws, and corporate standards.
2. Identify and drive changes in a future-oriented, solution-oriented, and proactive manner.
3. Ensure a strong and motivated team by aligning team members with company targets.
4. Promote 5S principles and standards to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Drive people development by identifying and coaching talents.
6. Own and control the departmental complaints process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
7. Support project analysis, oversee project plans, and manage resources effectively.
8. Implement SOPs and ensure integration into training material.
9. Maintain good relationships with QC/Regulatory Affairs and oversee customer-specified offers.

Your Profile:

1. Academic degree in electrical and electronic engineering.
2. Relevant work experience as a Service Manager or Head of Operations in an international Sales & Service environment.
3. Excellent leadership and project management skills.
4. Highly professional attitude with a customer-oriented working style.
5. Effective communication skills and a strong team player.
6. High language proficiency in English (spoken & written).
7. Willingness to travel within the SSA region.
8. Onsite presence in Johannesburg is required.
