Job description

Highly reputable and innovative bank seeks strategic and analytical individual. This pivotal role will drive Strategy Enablement plans for Leaders in Group Marketing. The successful candidate will articulate the plan and ensure the delivery of the Marketing, Brand, and Communication strategies across the bank. Exciting new role with a great culture.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and communicate Strategy Enablement plans for Group Marketing.
  2. Ensure the strategies align with the business and regions.
  3. Be instrumental in driving and monitoring implementation of the strategic goals.
  4. Coordinate and manage integrated work streams and teams across Marketing and the business.
  5. Act as an expert Strategic advisor to Leaders in Group Marketing.
  6. Ensure an excellent understanding of the business and strategy, and identify key challenges and opportunities.
  7. Provide support and meaningful insights to Executives to assist them in making informed decisions.
  8. Coordinate reporting including Exco reports, Board packs, and annual report.
  9. Compile the sections allocated to Marketing and ensure the quality and accuracy of the information presented.
  10. Drive cost management and budgetary control within Strategic Enablement.
  11. Report on strategic decisions and governance requirements.
  12. Track activities across Group Marketing, different business units, and geographies.
  13. Drive strategy enablement across Marketing, Communication, and Behavioural Sciences.
  14. Be a catalyst for organisational change.
  15. Develop strategies covering multi-tier environments and markets.
  16. Target clients from individuals to businesses of all sizes, including HNW clients to large multinational corporates.
  17. Make presentations to Senior Management and Executives.
  18. Other key responsibilities to be discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Honours degree in Business or equivalent; Masters preferable.
  2. Excellent experience in Strategy Enablement in Financial Services, Banking, or Technology.
  3. Background in research, insight, marketing strategy, and data management.
  4. Leadership experience in PMO in Financial Services, IT, or relevant industry.
