As they continue to scale, they are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Head of Short-Term Insurance Distribution to drive business expansion, foster strategic partnerships, and build high-performance sales teams across the country.
This is a pivotal leadership position, ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in building sustainable revenue pipelines and developing market presence within the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Leadership : Develop and execute a national growth strategy aligned with business objectives. Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and innovative distribution channels. Establish measurable growth targets and ensure consistent achievement.
- Business Development & Partnerships : Recruit, onboard, and retain high-caliber Broker Partners nationwide. Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem. Oversee the development of tailored propositions to attract and retain clients.
- Team Leadership & Sales Management : Build, mentor, and inspire a team of new business sales executives to consistently exceed sales targets. Implement training, development, and performance frameworks to maximise productivity. Foster a collaborative, achievement-oriented culture.
- Operational & Performance Management : Analyze performance data to guide decision-making and refine growth strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales, marketing, and operational priorities. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards across all growth activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, or Financial Services.
- Postgraduate qualifications (MBA or equivalent) advantageous.
Experience & Competencies
- Proven track record in sales leadership, brokerage growth, or strategic business development.
- Strong network within the short-term insurance industry, with established relationships across brokers, underwriters, and product providers.
- Demonstrated success in managing national sales operations and driving measurable revenue growth.
