HEAD OF SECURITY INSTALLATION

Overview: To manage a mining site in the Northern Cape by ensuring all installed systems are compliant and working and to manage technicians on site.

Duties:

1. To ensure that the Installation of CCTV, Alarms, Access Control, VMS and various other security products are complete and 100% Working.
2. Assist with maintenance, fault finding and installation of all the company’s products.
3. Lead and execute complex equipment installations according to project specifications.
4. Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed installation plans and documentation.
5. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior installation technicians.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
7. Stock control.
8. Completion of job cards.

Requirements:

1. Matric
2. Minimum of 5 years’ senior technician experience
3. PSIRA registered
4. Knowledge of Video Monitoring Systems (VMS) – Milestone definite advantage
5. Good knowledge of:

• CCTV products
• Alarm systems
• Access control
• Electric Fencing
• Boom gates
• Gate motors

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Unendorsed driver's license.

Relevant technical certifications or training preferred.

Mining experience desired

Clear Criminal record

Remuneration: Negotiable up to R36000, plus company housing, vehicle, cell phone, laptop and tools of the trade.
