You will lead, mentor and manage the department, ensure safety protocols in laboratories, liaise with school leadership and parents, and drive innovation to keep the program aligned with national and international standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science or Science Education.
• Qualified teacher with substantial secondary teaching experience (7+ years).
• Proven track record in educational leadership or curriculum coordination.
• Strong understanding of contemporary science education trends and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage Science department staff.
• Oversee development and review of the science curriculum.
• Promote innovative teaching methodologies and best practices within the science disciplines.
• Manage the department's budget, resources, and facilities effectively.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for all science students, including laboratory safety protocols.
