Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Sanitation Officer to manage and enhance sanitation programs in Centurion. This senior role requires strategic leadership to guide a team, ensure impeccable cleanliness, and uphold safety and health standards across Gauteng.

You will develop policies, oversee cleaning schedules, train staff, conduct audits, manage budgets for supplies and equipment, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sanitation leadership or management.
• Knowledge of hygiene principles and food safety standards.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and audits.
• Budget management and logistics experience.
• Degree or advanced diploma in Environmental Health or Public Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the sanitation team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation policies and procedures.
