Description

To develop and execute sales strategies across multiple channels to drive growth and achieve sales targets. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in managing diverse sales teams and channels, including cross-selling opportunities within allied businesses, affiliate sales, field sales, and digital sales. As the business scales, this role will have the opportunity to evolve into the Head of Sales, overseeing dedicated managers for each channel.



Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:

·Develop and implement sales strategies for each channel: cross-selling within allied businesses, affiliate sales, field sales, and digital sales.

·Set sales targets and KPIs for each channel and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

·Monitor and manage the financial performance of each sales channel, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.

Team Management:

·Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

·Provide coaching and support to sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.

·Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.

Channel Management:

·Collaborate with various sales channels to identify and convert potential customers. Develop mechanisms to prepare and refer customers to the ooba solar sales fulfillment team, where solar solution consultants will match the new homeowner with specific requirements and close the deal.

·Work with channel partners to build awareness of the ooba solar offering and refer customers at the right time.

·Develop and implement specific processes for each channel, and then measure and optimize them to maximize channel performance.

·Cross-Selling in Allied Businesses: Leverage the trust built by sales consultants who assist home buyers in securing the best homeloan, and recommend ooba solar for cheaper electricity solutions.

·Affiliate Sales Channel: Develop and manage a network of community managers who work with local leaders, sports clubs, churches, and other community organizations to promote and sell the solar offering within their communities.

·Field Sales: Oversee door-to-door sales operations, including territory management and customer engagement strategies. Implement a model similar to the FTTH rollout, where field sales teams 'paint a suburb green' and establish a strong presence in targeted areas.

·Digital Channel: Work with the digital marketing team to support and eventually lead direct-to-consumer sales efforts.

Customer Relationship Management:

·Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

·Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Performance Analysis:

·Monitor and analyze sales performance across all channels.

·Prepare regular reports on sales metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Market Research:

·Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

·Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.



Qualifications
