Job description

A leading organisation is looking for a Head of Sales and Operations to join their team. The main purpose of the role is to develop and implement a Consumer Business Strategy aligned to the group strategy that will deliver sustainable growth and profitability with seamless execution through the marketing, channel & sales teams with support from the key functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales optimisation strategy for the business.
  2. The achievement of volume / turnover / realisation & EBIT targets by category and for the business.
  3. Develop & implement a National Customer Account Plan.
  4. National Customer Activity Grid for the business developed and managed.
  5. Development and implementation of a business trading terms strategy.
  6. Development of an Investment Strategy.
  7. Realising targeted market share by implementing robust sales activities and aligning forward share across all categories.
  8. Manage key customer relationships.
  9. Analyse national market, customer information & develop a customer specific sales strategy which is translated into a clear activity plan.
  10. Negotiate terms with national and regional buyers.

Requirements:

  1. Degree – Business / Commercial or related field
  2. 5-7 Years sales experience within the FMCG environment
  3. 4 Years team leadership experience.
