About the Role:

As Head of Sales, you will oversee and lead the national sales strategy, team performance, and client engagement across multiple industries. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and positioning the company as a market leader in Auto ID solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a high-impact national sales strategy aligned to business goals
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives and Key Account Managers
Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across South Africa
Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service
Oversee pricing, proposals, and high-value contract negotiations
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the Auto ID space
Collaborate closely with operations, product, and executive teams to ensure seamless delivery
Report on KPIs, pipeline, forecasts, and market expansion performance

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in the Auto ID, Barcode Scanning, POS, or Hardware Distribution sectors
  • A track record of leading and scaling high-performing sales teams across South Africa
  • Deep understanding of Auto ID technology, hardware, and industry verticals
  • Strong strategic mindset, business acumen, and execution focus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven, and growth-oriented environment
