Job description

The HEAD OF SALES will be accountable for driving revenue growth in the South Africa division by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy. Leveraging in-depth knowledge of proven sales techniques, the HEAD OF SALES will implement tactical initiatives to acquire new clients and increase sales revenue.

Key Activities :

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy approved by EXCO.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business in designated territories.
  • Create revenue contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Coach and develop Sales Managers and their teams.
  • Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and quotes; attend client meetings as needed.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee visitation campaigns to engage clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and strategy teams to meet objectives.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience :

  • University degree.
  • Experience selling corporate technology solutions or subscriptions.
  • Background in law, risk, compliance, or governance is advantageous.
  • Proven success in sales management and leadership.
  • Experience managing sales managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple channels and optimize lead volume for sustained results.
  • Results-driven, analytical, action-oriented, with strong influencing and inspiring skills.
