Job Description :
- Commercial Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals, focusing on growth, market expansion, and revenue generation.
- Revenue Growth : Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and capitalising on all market opportunities.
- Sales Leadership : Lead the sales team, set targets, and ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue objectives across all streams.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs; provide actionable insights to maintain a competitive edge.
- Partnerships and Alliances : Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and industry players to support commercial objectives.
- Financial Performance : Collaborate with the finance team to monitor and manage the commercial department's budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Management : Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering high performance and supporting career development.
- Contract Negotiation : Oversee contract negotiations with clients, ensuring terms align with company objectives while maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering teams to align activities with company capabilities and market opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional certifications in sales or business development are advantageous.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a commercial or business development role, with 3-5 years in a leadership capacity within the Agtech or agricultural sector.
- Proven experience in leading sales teams and achieving revenue growth.
- Experience with CRM tools like Hubspot.
- Extensive experience managing key client accounts and developing long-term relationships.
- Strong background in developing and executing commercial strategies.
