Job description

Our client is hiring a Head of Professional Services to lead the strategic and operational delivery of complex, high-impact projects across Africa and multinational regions. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving successful implementations, scaling delivery operations, and ensuring optimal client satisfaction across all project touchpoints.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the P&L budget for the Professional Services department
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivery, implementation, integration, and support of software solutions
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
• Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and leadership teams to align project delivery with business strategy
• Strengthen governance frameworks and continuously improve delivery processes and methodologies
• Engage with regional clients at a senior level, ensuring strong relationships and commercial outcomes

Core Competencies:

• Strong project and programme management skills across software implementation and professional services
• Excellent leadership and team development abilities, with a track record of managing high-performing, cross-functional teams
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management and profitability tracking
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining detail-oriented and execution focused
• Awareness and compliance of ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301, PCI and Daat Protection regulations.

Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years' experience in a professional services or delivery environment, ideally within telecoms or enterprise software
• Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-region project teams
• Proven experience running a P&L
• Strong understanding of African and Middle Eastern market dynamics
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or similar certifications beneficial
• Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with evolving needs and priorities
