About our client:
Our client is a leading payments company dedicated to transforming the payment landscape by providing a risk-free and empowering payment solution. This is a senior exec level position necessitated by phenomenal growth and will oversee both the merchants and consumer side of the best payments product. This organisation has won multiple awards and is leading the field. This position will suit an innovative strategist, someone who enjoys R&D and who enjoys being part of the winning team.

What you will be doing:

• Come up with and explain a product vision and strategy that matches the company's overall goals.
  
• Make and keep a product roadmap showing the most important features, timelines, and how resources are allocated for product development.
  
• Manage the whole product development process, from idea and concept testing to launch and post-launch improvement.
  
• Lead and motivate the product team, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and high performance.
  
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to make sure everyone's on the same page and the product is delivered successfully.
  
• Do and analyse market research, user feedback, and check out the competition to find opportunities and make informed product decisions.
  
• Make product launches and adoption successful, working with marketing and sales to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
  
• Keep an eye on and analyse how the product is doing, finding areas for improvement and optimisation.
  
• Communicate well with stakeholders at all levels, be a nice person and ensure the fun, innovative, team driven company culture is retained
  

• A tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
  
• You need at least 8 years experience in product management
  
• Experience in a similar industry or market, particularly merchant / B2B, is a major plus!
  
• We're looking for someone who has led and managed product teams before, and has launched successful products that people actually use. Understanding how the tech works will give you a significant advantage
  
• You should be able to think strategically, and come up with a clear product vision and roadmap that makes sense for our business goals.
  
• You need to have a deep understanding of how product management works, including all the best practices and strategies.
  
• You should have a strong technical background and be able to work well with our engineering teams.
  
• We want someone who's passionate about understanding what users need and who wants to give them a great experience.
  
• You should be comfortable using data and analytics to make product decisions and see how our products are doing.
  
• You'll need excellent communication and people skills, and you should be able to influence and build relationships with everyone in the company, no matter their position.
