Job description

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement
  • In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels within the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead the development of category strategies, vendor management, and vendor risk frameworks
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process optimization through strategic procurement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procurement policies and procedures
  • Mitigate procurement risks by implementing robust controls, governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the procurement team
