ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to help grow two ambitious brands: Longdue, a narrative video game studio developing a bold new RPG, and HyperionDev, one of the world's leading providers of coding bootcamps.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of gaming and education — building audiences, running high-impact campaigns, and shaping the digital funnel across two industries undergoing massive change.

At Longdue, you'll lead audience-building initiatives for Hopetown, a surreal, story-rich RPG in early development.

You'll work on everything from Kickstarter campaign prep to community growth, owned channels, and influencer strategy — helping us connect with the players who care about deep narrative experiences.

At HyperionDev, you'll run acquisition campaigns that drive student enrolment into our tech bootcamps, working closely with admissions, product, and creative to optimise funnels and scale growth.

You'll report into the Director of Performance Marketing and collaborate with a team of marketers, designers, and strategists.

We're looking for someone who is as comfortable working on CPCs and ROAS as they are marketing a deeply weird, emotional indie game.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Growth & Performance Strategy
    • Own and optimise performance marketing channels across Longdue and HyperionDev.
    • Develop full-funnel campaigns across paid media, SEO, influencers, and owned platforms.
    • Support the Director of Performance Marketing in strategic planning and reporting.
    • Balance the short-term need for conversions with long-term brand and audience growth.
  2. Experimentation & Optimisation
    • Launch and iterate on experiments to improve funnel performance and lower CAC.
    • Analyse user journeys and campaign data to improve conversion and retention.
    • Work across game pre-launch, crowdfunding prep, and student acquisition funnels.
    • Share insights with internal teams and feed learnings into creative and product planning.
  3. Collaboration & Team Enablement
    • Mentor junior marketers and support campaign delivery across the team.
    • Work with creative and content teams to align paid media with narrative and brand.
    • Partner with product, admissions, and studio leadership to drive cross-functional impact.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in growth or performance marketing, with a clear focus on paid acquisition, digital funnels, and performance metrics.
  2. Proven track record owning and scaling paid media campaigns across channels such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and programmatic platforms — with experience managing six-figure+ budgets.
  3. Deep understanding of performance KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, CPL, LTV, and funnel conversion metrics — and how to optimise for them.
  4. At least 2 years in a senior or team lead role, responsible for acquisition, performance campaigns, or revenue-driving experiments.
  5. Experience working in a tech, education, or consumer startup environment with fast iteration cycles and ambitious growth goals.
  6. Strong analytical toolkit.
  7. Ability to design and run A/B tests, landing page experiments, and audience segmentation strategies.
  8. Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills — able to translate insights into action and collaborate with admissions, brand, and product teams.

Preferred

  1. Prior experience in the education sector, specifically in learner acquisition or admissions.
  2. Experience in scaling marketing operations and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  3. A relevant degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  4. Experience in managing relationships with finance partners or external stakeholders in a sales context.
