Job description

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the technical and financial aspects of the Patient Services Department such as

performing patient searches, compiling reports to transplant centres and invoicing.

• Ensuring adherence to administrative, ethical, and legal requirements of the Patient Services

Department.

• Overseeing personnel in the Patient Services Department.

• Managing the Patient Assistance Programme.

• Building and maintaining conducive relationships with stakeholders, which includes ad hoc

• Compiling and facilitating presentations, including statistics and other reports.

• Compliance with the relevant SABMR and WMDA standards, recommendations, and

guidelines, including the compilation of and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:

• HPCSA Registration will be an advantage

• Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / BSc in Genetics or similar

Experience:

• At least five years of relevant managerial experience

• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
