The Head of Operations in Johannesburg will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily activities, optimizing processes, and spearheading initiatives that fuel business growth.

This role is ideal for a results-driven, hands-on leader with extensive online casino and iGaming industry expertise, capable of fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving efficiency at every level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement operational strategies that boost efficiency and enhance both user and business experiences.
  • Develop long-term operational plans aligned with company objectives, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with the Product team to support seamless product rollouts and prioritize enhancements.
  • Oversee the adoption of cutting-edge technology solutions, ensuring optimal performance of digital tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, acquisition, and brand teams to execute impactful campaigns and programs.
  • Work closely with Retention, Affiliate, and VIP teams to enhance customer experience and improve key metrics such as NPS.
  • Ensure smooth, compliant operations across all gaming platforms, with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with finance and payment teams to enhance localized payment solutions, driving improvements in user experience, FTD%, retention, and ROI.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to uphold regulatory standards across operational territories.
  • Implement robust compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to legal and operational requirements.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across departments, driving efficiency, standardization, and scalability.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Resolve cross-functional challenges to maintain seamless business operations.
  • Work with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and adherence to KYC and data protection standards.
